Macro began his career in a DDBO affiliated advertisement company where he worked as a copywriter on several national and international campaigns. He also has taken part in a few low budget feature films in South Africa. Since 2004 he has be based in New York City and has been a part of First Monkey Films and Everybodyrow Films as writer and a director. During his time as a filmmaker he have written over a dozen short films, two of which has won awards. He is currently in the process of finishing his second feature length script. His work is steeped in visual artistry and master storytelling
